About AIIMS MBBS 2014:-

The medical stream is an important part of the trinity of professional careers in India after engineering and law. There are different courses offered by central as well as private medical universities in India. Admission to these courses is made on the basis of performance in the entrance exam conducted at the national level or by particular institutes.

The AIIMS entrance exam administered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences is the largest and by far the most popular of medical exams after the national level entrance test. As many as 60,000 aspirants slug it out each year to secure admission to 50 seats offered at the medical college. Cracking the exam is by no means an easy task however it is not impossible either.

Did you know- AIIMS are  autonomous institutes of national importance. These institute award their own academic degrees and certifications. These degrees are certifications are recognized by the Medical Council of India and are such are equivalent to the medical degrees awarded by medical colleges and institutes in India.

10+2 with an aggregate of 50 percent marks with subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths.

10+2 with an aggregate of 60 percent marks with subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths.
(55 percent in case of SC/ST candidates)
Minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year.

B. Sc (honors) Nursing
For Female candidates: 10+2 with an aggregate of 50 percent marks (45 percent in case of SC/ST candidates) with subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths.

B.Sc (honors) Post Certificate
10+2 or equivalent or Certificate in general nursing or midwifery and certification of an A grade Nurse. Registered with the State Nurses Registration Council. Experience as a staff nurse in recognized hospital or as a public health care nurse.

AIPGMEE MD/MS/MDS/ P.G. Diploma
MBBS or BDS or foreign medical degree from a college recognized by DCI or MCI. Date of completion of internship (12 months) or on before 31st March of the year.
3 years from date of admission
AIIMS-PG (MD/MS/MDS)
MBBS/BDS with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and must have completed 12 months compulsory internship at recognized hospital.

How to Apply:-

·  STEP 1- Log on to AIIMS official website.

·  STEP 2- Read through the prospectus carefully before registering.

·  STEP 3- Fill in the AIIMS Online registration form.

·  STEP 4- No documents need to be attached with the application form.

·  STEP 5- Payment of AIIMS application fee through computer generated challan at any of the mentioned branches of the State Bank of India.

·  STEP 6- Download a copy of the online registration form and keep the same for future reference.

Application or Registration Fee:-

Application Fee for AIIMS 2014 exam is as follows

· Rs 1000 for General and OBC category candidates.

·  Rs 800 for SC/ST candidates.



AIIMS Paper Pattern:

 
· Exam Mode- Online or Offline

· Type of Questions- objective type questions

· Marks- 200 marks

· Duration- 210 minutes (3 hours and 30 minutes)

· Sections-Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology)/General Knowledge.

· Marking- one mark for every right answer

· Negative marking- 0.25 for a wrong answer.
