About MAT 2014-15 :- 

Well before CAT,XAT and CMAT exams became a preferred choice for management aspirants in India, MAT exam was considered by students as an option for admission to the top MBA colleges in India. To AIMA's MAT goes the distinction of being one of the first management aptitude test in India.

AIMA MAT 2014 is both a computer-based and paper-pen based management entrance test directed by AIMA- All India Management Association.The largest exam of its kind Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is accepted by as many as 600 B-schools in India.

MAT Colleges:- MAT Colleges accepting MAT 2015 test score are approved by the AICTE and DTE and are rated among the finest B-schools India.

MAT Exam Calendar:- Unlike other management exams in the country MAT is conducted four times a year that is the months of February, May, September and December. Provided below is the information for the last MAT exam for 2013.

MAT 2015 Exam Pattern:- As mentioned, you can select either computer-based mode or paper-pen mode for MAT 2015. The MAT exam paper shall consist of 200 questions in subjects of Language comprehension,Mathematical Skills,Data Analysis and Sufficiency,Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and
Indian and Global Environment which need to be answered in 2 hour and 30 minutes (150 minutes).

MAT 2015 Eligibility:- 

Educational Qualification- Graduate in any discipline. Final year students are also eligible to apply.

Aggregate- Minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks
Age- Not specified
Relaxations in age- Not specified

Exam Dates and Details:-

  • Modes of Test- a) Paper Based Test b) Computer Based Test
  • Test dates: Paper Based Test- 01st December 2013 ; 13 September 2014 (Saturday) onwards.
  • Test time: Paper Based Test- 10:00 am to 12:30 pm; Computer Based Test: Different time slots as per specific venues

How to Apply for MAT 2015? 

You can chose any one of the following modes to apply for MAT 2015:-

• Buy Application form along with MAT Bulletin and CD by paying Rs 1200 (one thousand two hundred) at specified branches of the Bank of Baroda or Axis Bank or listed study centres of the AIMA or directly from AIMA New Delhi. 

• Draw a demand draft of Rs 1200/- favoring “All Indian Management Association” and payable at New Delhi from any bank.

MAT 2014-15 Paper Pattern:


Total Duration-  2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes)

Total Number of Questions- 200 Marks

Sections-  5 Sections

1. Language comprehension (40 questions) (30 minutes)
2. Mathematical Skills (40 questions) (40 minutes)
3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency (40 questions) (35 minutes)
4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning (40 questions) (40 minutes)
5. Indian and Global Environment (40 questions) (15 minutes)

How is MAT 2015 Percentile Calculated?

It is not difficult to understand how MAT percentile is calculated. However it is difficult to  calculate the score as it would require information like

a) Total number of candidates who have appeared in the exam
b) Number of candidates who have scored less marks than you.

If information regarding the same is available then you can freely go ahead and calculate  your MAT percentile.

The  formula for calculation is as follows:-

If N is the Total number of candidates appearing in MAT Exam

Then P= (Number of candidates who have scored less than you/N) 100
