JAIIB 2014 Exam Dates | Notification | Pattern


Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Banking (JAIIB) exam is a qualifying examination administered by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).The objective of the exam is to test candidates basic knowledge in banking and financial services, technology, consumer related services and legal aspects which are the base for everyday banking operations.The exam is open to candidates working in banking and financial institutions in India. The institute’s JAIIB course is equivalent to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance. IIBF membership form is available on IIBF official website.

Eligibility for JAIIB Exam 2015:

1. The exam is open to candidates working in banking and financial institutions.
2. Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent. The institute may however allow candidates working in clerical or supervisory cadres to appear for the examination on the recommendation of manager if the person is not a matriculate.
3. Subordinate staff of recognized and subordinate banking and financial institutions are eligible to apply for the exam provided they have passed matriculation exam. 



How to apply for JAIIB Exam 2014:-

Interested applicants wishing to apply for JAIIB Exam are required to apply online on JAIIB official website www.iibf.com. Following is step by step online application procedure for JAIIB exam.

If you wish to apply for JAIIB Exam 2015 you are required to be an ordinary member of the IIBF.

STEP 1: Log on to www.iibf.com
STEP 2: Login using user ID and password.
STEP 3: Fill JAIIB online application form.
STEP 4: Check application details carefully before submission.
STEP 5: You will be asked to confirm application details.
STEP 6: Once this is done you will directed to payment window.
STEP 7: Make payment of application fee.
STEP 8: You will receive confirmation SMS confirming registration and payment of application fee.

Application Fee for JAIIB Exam
• First block of 2 attempts: Rs 2697/-.
• Second block of 2 attempts: Rs 2697/-.


Payment of JAIIB 2014 application can be paid through either debit/credit card or net banking facility.

In case of not successful or not complete payment of JAIIB Application Fee:


In case payment is made through net banking or debit card and transaction is not successful/ complete, the fees will be refunded by concerned bank within 10-12 working days. If the payment is made through credit card, the amount will be re-credited to candidate's account by the bank in the next billing cycle of credit card. Refund timeline indicated is approximate, as the processing of refund is dependent on multiple organization and working days/holidays of bank/financial institutes.

• Mode of Examination: Online and offline
• Language option: English and Hindi
• Negative marking: There is no negative marking for the exam.
• Minimum pass marks: 50 marks.

• Sections of Exam: Knowledge testing, Conceptual grasp, Analytical/logical exposition, Problem solving, Case analysis.
• Examination will be conducted in Online Mode at majority of centres and under offline mode (paper and pencil) at selected centres as per the notification given on the website in this regard. Examination will be held on three consecutive Sundays (one paper on each Sunday)

JAIIB 2014-15 PASSING CRITERIA:-

i) Pass: Minimum marks for pass in every subject- 50 out of 100 marks
(ii) Candidate securing at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of JAIIB examination in a single attempt will also be declared as having passed JAIIB Examination.
