BITSAT, started as an entrance test for admission to integrated engineering courses in BITS institutions is now accepted by other universities and institutes for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs. Ranked among the ten most popular engineering entrance tests in India BITSAT pitted the IIT JEE in terms of the squeakiest ratio of admission, with almost 1.36 lakh students vying for 2000 seats at BITSAT institutes.

Important Dates for BITSAT 2014:
•Start date for online registration: December 18, 2013 (Wednesday).•Last date for online registration: February 15, 2014 (Saturday).
•Allotment of test centers: February 25, 2014 (Tuesday).
•Candidates can reserve (book) test dates: March 01 (Saturday) and March 20 (Thursday), 2014.
•Download of admit card: April 15 (Tuesday) to April 30 (Wednesday) 2014.
•BITSAT 2014 Exam Date: May 14 (Wednesday) to June 01 (Sunday) 2014.
•Candidates to apply for admission with class 12 marks and preference to degree programmes:May 20 (Tuesday) to June 30 (Monday) 2014.
• Announcement of admit and wait list:July 01, 2014 (Tuesday).

Eligibility:
•Educational Qualification- Applicants should have passed 12th class exam from 10+2 system from recognized central or state board.
•Aggregate- Minimum aggregate of 75 percent taking together subjects of Physics,Chemistry and Maths.
•Aggregate in core subjects- Minimum 60 percent aggregate individually in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
•Additional Qualification- Must be proficient in English
•Students who have passed 12th standard examination in 2012 are not eligible to apply for BITSAT 2014.
How to Apply for BITSAT 2014:
•STEP 01- Log on to BITSAT official website.
•STEP 02- Fill in the BITSAT online application form.
•STEP 03- One you have done filling the form check through the form and edit changes if any.
•STEP 04- Submit the form on completion of the same.
•STEP 05- Payment of application fee.
•STEP 06- Take a printout of the completed application form.
•STEP 07- If payment of fee is done through demand draft candidates are required to submit completed application along with demand draft to the Admission Officer, BITS, Pilani-333 031.
BITSAT Application fee:
The application fee for BITSAT 2014 is as follows
If candidate chooses Dubai as a center then the application fee for both male and female candidates is $50 (fifty dollars only) (Rs 3000/-).
- Male Candidates: Rs 1900 (rupees one thousand nine hundred only).
- Female Candidates: Rs 1400 (rupees one thousand four hundred only).
If candidate chooses Dubai as a center then the application fee for both male and female candidates is $50 (fifty dollars only) (Rs 3000/-).
Application fee can be paid through demand draft or online mode. If payment of application fee is done through demand draft candidates are required to submit completed application form and the demand draft to the office of admission before the stipulated date mentioned in the notification.

BITSAT score report : After taking the test the system will generate a BITSAT score report of total correct answers and wrong answers with
score. Candidates can also check and print their score reports from
BITSAT website on completion of test.
BITSAT Cutoffs : The Cutoffs for BITSAT scores for
the year 2013-14 to different programs that the above mentioned BITSAT institutions
is as follows. Please note that these score vary from year to year and are
declared by the examining body just after the declaration of results.
