Railway Recruitment Cell of Western Railway, Mumbai has disclosed Group D Recruitment for a total of 5,775 vacancies for posts of Helper and Trackmen. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from individuals wishing to apply for this recruitment. Selected candidates would be appointed under pay band-I (5,200-20,200) with grade pay of Rs 1800 and would be posted in divisions and workshops of Western Railway.Important dates for this recruitment

Remote areas refers to residents of the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Island and candidates residing abroad

Age Limit: The categorywise age limit for candidates is as follows
• For unreserved category candidates: 18 to 33 years.
• For OBC category candidates: 18 to 36 years.
• For SC/ST category candidates: 18 to 38 years.
Eligibility: Class 10 (Matriculation) or ITI in relevant discipline from government recognized institution or board.

• Fill in necessary details in the registration form.
• Send application form along with passport sized photographs copy of DD and copies of valid documents supporting age, educational qualification, caste or other certificates (if applicable) to the following address.

Procedure of Selection:-
Applicants would be selected on the basis of merit and based on performance in the written examination and physical efficiency test (PET).
